VIRTUAL GENDER REVEALS
A virtual gender reveal that feels like a real one.
Send one link. Everyone votes, watches the same countdown and finds out together, wherever they are and on whatever device they have.
What your guests get
One countdown for everyone
It ends at the same moment in every time zone, so nobody finds out before anyone else.
No app and no account
Guests open your link in a browser and type the passcode you give them. Only you need an account.
Five ways to reveal
Keep it to the countdown, or add balloon pop, a mystery box, a spinning wheel or a scratch card.
Votes and wishes
Guests choose Team Boy or Team Girl and leave a wish for the baby before the big moment.
How it works
Make your page
Add your names, a welcome message and a photo. Pick the date, the time and your reveal style.
Share one link
Send it by message or email, with the passcode. Print the QR card for anyone who prefers paper.
Find out together
At your chosen time the countdown ends and the result appears on every screen at once.
How to run a great virtual gender reveal
- Send the link a week or so ahead, so the votes and wishes have time to build up.
- Pick a time that suits the person you most want there, then work out everyone else around them.
- Open a video call a few minutes early if you want to see faces. The page runs beside it in another tab or on a second device.
- Ask someone to record your reaction. It is the part people watch again.
- Try the free demo first, so you know exactly what your guests will see.
Do you need a video call?
No. The reveal page works by itself, and some families like that: everyone gets the moment on their own phone, then the messages start flying.
If you do want to watch each other react, use Zoom, Google Meet or whatever your family already knows. Video calling is separate from GenderReveal.live, so nobody has to learn anything new.
What it costs
You pay once per event, with no subscription, and any number of guests can join. Prices start from $9.99 and vary by country. You will see your local price before you pay, and the demo is free.
Questions we get
What is a virtual gender reveal?
It is a gender reveal your guests join online rather than in one room. On GenderReveal.live they open a private page, make their guess and watch a countdown that ends at the same moment for everybody.
Can people join from another country?
Yes. The countdown runs to one exact moment, so it ends together in every time zone. All they need is the link, the passcode and a web browser.
What if I do not know the result myself?
Choose trustee mode. Someone you trust enters the result through a private link, so you can plan everything and still be surprised along with your guests.
Can we do this at a party as well?
Yes. Put the page on the big screen for the people in the room while everyone else joins from their own devices.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. The demo lets you play every reveal style and see the guest page with no sign-up.
Bring everyone together, wherever they are.
Set up your page in a few minutes, then send the link when you are ready.
